My name is Michelle Brown and Darwin has been my home for the past 20 years. I was born in Melbourne and spent my first 20 years battling eczema, asthma and food allergies. Initially, in an attempt to find healing for me, my parents took me to see orthodox medical doctors, Gps, paediatricians, dermatologists, immunologists. We persevered with finding solutions in this system for over 12 years.
Eventually we explored the alternative medical field with allergy testing, psychologists, Homeopath then a Naturopath. Through changing my diet, working with herbs, nutritional medicine, exercise and emotional healing I now live free of all of my past alignments. Through this experience I discovered my love of natural medicine and my desire to help others. I went on to study Psychology at Monash University because I wanted to become a counsellor. I didn’t find my perfect fit here but graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree. I later realised what I loved and completed my study to become a qualified Naturopath, Herbalist and Nutritionist.
I think been unwell for a large period of my early life has given me a great understanding into both the medical and alternative therapy systems, a tremendous empathy for others who are going through bad health and a deep understanding that the body knows how to heal given the right treatment. I am invested in my clients journey as I want to see them well. It brings me great joy to help others and see them regain their health.
My health knowledge is extensive and my education has spanned over 25 years.
I am trained in Western Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, Homeopathy, Iridology, Kinesiology, Chinese Medicine, Nutritional Compounding and emotional healing (Psychology degree).
